   Kappo-ryokan(ryokan stands for a traditional
Japanese inn) Kameya faces Nishikoku Kaido,
a road that retains the atmosphere of an inn town.
Inheriting the tradition of ryokans as inns,
we have been serving travelers since the Edo period.
We have designed a folk art atmosphere throughout
the entire inn to reflect the importance of our history
and to create a relaxing atmosphere for our guests.
Our guests can relax in a comfortable atmosphere
and enjoy the best hospitality with our cuisine
that makes the best use of natural ingredients.
We sincerely look forward to your visit.

The original building is recorded on a 300-year old map and is shown next to Ichirizuka
The inn has operated at the current location for about 200 years,
and still features roof tiles engraved more than 180 years ago.
Through the generations, we have continued to operate this inn that has long been loved by local guests.
